Responsibility in Action

Our first sustainability report is here – a milestone for YOUR OFFICE’s sustainability efforts – with its innovative sharing economy concept.

Our report demonstrates how we take responsibility through green lease agreements and clearly defined procurement measures (durable, recyclable materials, strict supplier requirements and guidelines), waste & circular economy practices (consistent separation, less paper, waste prevention), and in our day-to-day operations. However, for us, commitment does not end at the office door: with passion, we support aid organizations – and as a team, we were of course also at the ROTE NASEN charity run in Vienna last weekend.

At YOUR OFFICE, we see sustainability as a daily mandate: we operate flexible workspaces as resource-efficiently and responsibly as possible – from 100% green electricity at all locations to efficient building technology and fair, safe working conditions for our teams and partners.

Under the motto “Together.Sustainable.Business”, YOUR OFFICE is committed to the resource-efficient operation of its sites and the use of environmentally friendly business resources. However, this is not about imposed obligations within the framework of the EU taxonomy or applicable ESG requirements. Rather, the idea of environmentally friendly business conduct is part of our DNA, which, within the framework of the sharing economy model, is dedicated to the joint use of infrastructure and required resources.

Our approach

Our focus on regional products and short supply chains makes a key contribution to the forward-looking, local green office concept, as part of the “Austrian Working Spirit” of YOUR OFFICE. Thus, the environmentally sustainable management of flex office locations represents a social obligation for YOUR OFFICE and, thanks to the promotion of smart and efficient technologies, also provides clear long-term cost advantages for tenants. For example, the comprehensive conversion of all sites to LED lighting was initiated years ago and further advanced in 2024. Smart technologies for efficient ventilation, heating, and cooling of office units are standard in newly constructed office buildings at YOUR OFFICE. The waste concept is evaluated every six months and optimized based on local conditions and possibilities. Beverages have been served exclusively in recyclable glass bottles or open containers for 25 years. Since 2024, plastic containers have been avoided in food & beverage operations. Procurement of consumables is – where possible – exclusively in packaging units with minimal or particularly resource-efficient packaging material.

For us, sustainability already begins with the selection of suitable properties for our locations. New projects are realized exclusively in green or blue building-certified commercial properties. With the new flagship location LeopoldQuartier, “green lease” contracts are being offered for the first time. In doing so, YOUR OFFICE is setting new standards in the serviced & flex office sector in Vienna.

But social responsibility is also a top priority at YOUR OFFICE. This includes not only compliance with local laws and regulations but also creating an environment of cultural diversity and respectful interaction. A key aspect is the promotion of each individual employee and the transfer of our jointly developed values to all employees and partners. Ultimately, for us, responsibility does not end within our office walls. To facilitate collaboration with our external partners, YOUR OFFICE therefore published a completely revised Code of Conduct & Ethics in 2024, which all suppliers and subcontractors are also required to comply with.

As YOUR OFFICE is not subject to mandatory reporting, reporting is carried out only in line with common standards (ESRS/GRI) and on a purely voluntary basis to transparently show where we stand, what we have already achieved, and where we are heading. Our goal is clear: measurably less environmental impact, measurably more impact for people and communities – and governance structures that secure this claim in the long term.
