Responsibility in Action

Our first sustainability report is here – a milestone for the sustainability efforts of YOUR OFFICE – with its innovative sharing economy concept. In it, we demonstrate how we take responsibility through green lease agreements and clearly defined measures in purchasing (durable, recyclable materials, strict guidelines and standards for suppliers), in waste & circular economy (consistent sorting, less paper, waste prevention), and in everyday operations. However, our commitment does not end at the office door: we passionately support relief organizations – and last weekend, as a team, we naturally also participated in the RED NOSES run in Vienna.

At YOUR OFFICE, we view sustainability as a daily mission: we operate flexible working environments as resource-efficiently and responsibly as possible – from 100% green electricity at all locations and efficient building technology to fair, safe working conditions for our teams and partners.

Under the motto "Together.Sustainable.Business", YOUR OFFICE is dedicated to the resource-efficient operation of its locations and the use of ecologically compatible operating supplies. However, this is not about imposed obligations under the EU taxonomy or applicable ESG regulations. Rather, the idea of environmentally friendly business management is part of our DNA, which is committed to the shared use of infrastructure and required resources within the framework of the sharing economy business model.

Our Approach

Our focus on regional products and short supply chains makes a significant contribution to the future-oriented, domestic Green Office concept as part of the "Austrian Working Spirit" of YOUR OFFICE. Thus, the ecologically sustainable management of the flex office locations represents a social obligation for YOUR OFFICE and, thanks to the promotion of smart and efficient technologies, also offers clear long-term cost advantages for tenants. For example, the comprehensive conversion of all locations to LED lighting was initiated years ago and continued to be driven forward in 2024. Smart technologies for efficient ventilation, heating, and cooling of the office units are standard in newly constructed office properties at YOUR OFFICE. The waste management concept is evaluated semi-annually and optimized based on local conditions and opportunities. For 25 years, beverages have been served exclusively in recyclable glass bottles or from open containers. Since 2024, plastic containers have been avoided for operational and beverage supplies. Consumables are – wherever possible – procured exclusively in packaging units with a low or particularly economical proportion of packaging material.

For us, however, sustainability begins even with the selection of suitable real estate for our locations. New projects are realized exclusively in Green or Blue Building certified commercial properties. With the new flagship location LeopoldQuartier, "Green Lease" rental agreements are being offered for the first time. With this, YOUR OFFICE is setting new standards in the serviced & flex offices sector in Vienna.

Social responsibility is also a top priority at YOUR OFFICE. This includes not only compliance with local laws and regulations, but also the creation of an environment of cultural diversity and respectful interaction with one another. A key idea here is the promotion of every individual employee and the transfer of our jointly developed values to all employees and partners. After all, our responsibility does not end within our locations. To simplify collaboration with our external partners, YOUR OFFICE also published a completely revised Code of Conduct & Ethics in 2024, which all suppliers and sub-service providers have also been required to follow.

Since YOUR OFFICE is not subject to reporting requirements, the reporting is carried out solely in alignment with common standards (ESRS/GRI) and transparently demonstrates on a purely voluntary basis where we stand, what we have already achieved, and where we are heading. Our goal is clear: measurably less environmental impact, measurably more impact for people and community – and governance structures that permanently secure this ambition.
